According to the US government both a bomber and the people supporting him are terrorist, and there is a strict policy against the negotiation with such people. This is extremely confusing to me.Perhaps I confuse the terminology a freedom fighter and a terrorist.
In South Africa the ANC government changed road names and some of these names honour "freedom fighters". This is very confusing as to when a freedom fighter become a terrorist and when does he remain a freedom fighter?
In a previous post I mentioned the fact that the ANC sanctioned a street change in Amanzimtoti, they changed Kinsway Rd to Andrew Zondo Rd. Andrew Zondo was sentenced to death by the previous apartheid government for killing and crippling many people in Amanzimtoti, with a bomb he planted in the then Sanlam center. The victims of the bomb was normal citizens and had no influence on the then apartheid policies. According to me this define Zondo as a terrorist and no longer a freedom fighter. If he planted the same bomb at military institution I would have thought he could have been a freedom fighter. Please correct me if this statement is wrong.
My question is, if Zondo was an ANC freedom fighter, who supported and supplied him with the material to make this bomb? The second question would be, if he was a freedom fighter why did he and his support targeted civilians?
There is obviously the slim possibility that he was told to attack a police station or a military institution, but then why honor him if he went against ANC policy and or instructions?
I believe he was a terrorist and so was the people that sanctioned and honour his actions. There is no excuse according to me to attach women and children even during war. If I am correct, then all the people who sanctioned the street name change are terrorist, in which case the president is one of them. If that is true we need to ask Obama the following questions.
1) Did you come to South Africa to only have tea with Jacob Zuma or did you negotiate with him at all?
2) Are you aware that Zuma support and or honour terrorist?
3) Do you know that they are hiding the body of Nelson Mandela or did you see him during your visit?
4) Did you change the US policies on negotiating with terrorist or just amended it for the visit.
Please understand me well I love South Africa and Pres. Obama. I believe that there are solutions to grow the nation as a unit. When I learnt about Madiba and the way government treat his body, I had lots of questions, and I think we deserve answers?
Mr Obama are you negotiating with terrorist?
